The $10 million complex is in the Axis 25 Development at 4510 Byrd Drive in Loveland, Colorado. Through the expansion, Beckman Coulter said it expects to create 85 new high-paying jobs in Loveland in the coming years. These jobs span science research, engineering and project management.
Beckman Coulter already employs more than 140 full-time associates in Loveland, according to a news release.
“The relentless pursuit of innovation is what drives our business and our associates each and every day,” said Suzanne Foster, president of Beckman Coulter Life Sciences. “We continue to be impressed by the talent community that exists in greater Loveland, which has fueled our growth in Colorado since we came here in 2018 with nearly three-dozen associates. Our instruments are on the frontlines of major global research facilities, providing them with valuable automation solutions to accelerate answers for that next big breakthrough moment. We’re thrilled to be expanding in Loveland, where our growing team will play a key role in that evolution.”
The new complex features 56,000 square feet of office space. It includes collaboration zones, breakout rooms, technology centers, gathering spaces and a gym.
Beckman Coulter’s new facility also has a customer engagement center. This allows customers to take an inside look at the solutions available from the company. They can also see how Beckman Coulter created them and how it can tailor them to meet laboratory needs.
The company formally announced the initiation of the second phase of its Loveland expansion. It plans to add a 37,000-square-foot manufacturing facility to the office site. Beckman Coulter said it expects to break ground by the second quarter of 2023 and anticipates completion in early 2024.
Additionally, Beckman Coulter provided a donation to Restoring Colorado’s Forests. This comes in an effort to give back to the greater Loveland community. Its donation ensures the planting of 140 trees to replace those lost during recent wildfires and other environmental damage.
“I am excited to congratulate Beckman Coulter Life Sciences on their official opening today in Loveland, creating 85 good-paying jobs in Northern Colorado,” said Colorado Gov. Jared Polis. “As Colorado continues to position itself as a leader in advanced industries like bioscience, I am thrilled to see more companies choosing to move and expand in our state.”
